Tax Buddy respects your privacy and complies with the spirit of India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and GDPR principles.

1. What we collect

Usage data: anonymised analytics (page views, feature usage). Chat content: the questions you ask are processed to generate answers. In the current version we do not store uploaded financial documents on our servers. Account data(email, billing) is collected only if you subscribe to Pro.

2. How we use it

To provide and improve the Service, process payments, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.

3. AI processing

Your questions are sent to an AI model to generate responses. Do not share sensitive identifiers (PAN, Aadhaar, bank account numbers) in chat — they are not needed to get useful guidance.

4. Cookies

We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics and local storage to remember your theme and free-tier usage. No third-party advertising trackers.

5. Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com.

6. Security

We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take protection seriously.
